Woodland View is a successful meat wholesaler to local businesses, but wanted to branch out and grow the business in the B2C market. They wanted to create boxes of carefully selected meat varieties for busy people, who care about where their meat comes from. They needed to tweak and position their brand to appeal to consumers, redesign their website and implement a shop, to fall in-line with the new strategy.
As it was a rebrand, I needed to be sympathetic to their current and long standing logo design, so their B2B customers could still recognise the brand. The 2 requests were to keep the yellow in some form and also the script font.
Their current website was built on GoDaddy, but they were happy to try a new platform, with more capability and features.

The result was a logo which is reminiscent of the Woodland View name and location, with livestock under a tree eating the fresh grass. We kept the script font, the dark aesthetic and the yellow, but moved it to a secondary colour, so we could bring in a rich heritage gold for the logo icon.
The look and feel of the new brand is very rustic yet premium with wooden texture paired with black and gold. Having met with Ian, the founder and director, I wanted to reflect his West Country warmth and friendliness in the overall tone.
We rolled the brand identity out to all the touch points they needed like business cards, product labels, poster design, social media, website and even van graphics.

We redesigned the entire site and built separate areas to distinguish between Woodland View's client base for trade business, and the meat boxes for residential customers, creating a user-friendly experience for all. We styled all pages on the new branding and created inspiring, compelling SEO-friendly copy for the website and also the meat boxes themselves.

Woodland View already had a Google My Business listing, so we updated the branding and made it more search friendly.
Thanks to the help of the new brand style guide, I was able to communicated the brand's essence, story, history, tone of voice and style to Vicky, who has taken the baton and is nailing a new social media campaign for them! take a look on Facebook and Instagram: @woodlandviewdevon.
"I tasked Gemma with a complete brand review, website and social media awareness for my business Woodland View. Nothing has been too much trouble, phone call, emails, texts etc, great communication and attention to detail and advice. I would highly recommend Jellicoe Creative for your requirements”
